Brand

A wordmark, a set of tokens, and one rule that matters more than the rest.

Everything here is free to use when writing about Fyber. Most of this page is straightforward typography and colour. The one thing we will always ask to have corrected is a Robinhood logo placed next to ours, because it implies a relationship that does not exist.

Wordmark

Five letters, widely spaced.

The mark is set in the display face, so it stays crisp at any size and needs no asset pipeline. The full lockup is the default: use it in headers, footers and anywhere the name appears on its own.

The monogram is for favicons, avatars and sidebars too narrow for the full mark. Never use it as a decorative element beside the full wordmark.

Three sizes exist. Below the small size the letter-spacing stops reading as a word; set the monogram instead.

The one-line description

Borrow dollars against your tokenized stocks. Without selling.

Use this verbatim where a standfirst is needed. It is the sentence the legal review cleared, and rewording it usually reintroduces a claim we cannot make.

Colour

Semantic tokens, never hue names.

Every colour is referenced by what it means, which is what lets the same markup render correctly in the dark default and in the light theme.

Ground

  • bgThe page itself
  • bg-deepFull-bleed image sections, the footer
  • surfacePanels on the ground
  • surface-2Panels on panels
  • surface-3Tags, tracks, the third step up
  • borderHairlines, where one is needed

Ink

  • inkHeadings and primary values
  • ink-2Body copy
  • ink-3Labels, captions, footnotes

Accent

  • accentPrimary action, one per view
  • accent-hoverHover state of the above
  • accent-mutedAccent-tinted grounds
  • bronzeThin rules, side labels, the rim light
  • bronze-strongOne word in a headline
  • bronze-mutedBronze-tinted grounds for tags

Value

  • positiveA number that moved up
  • negativeA number that moved down
  • warningSomething needs attention
  • infoInformational states only

Market state

  • market-liveLive session
  • market-extendedExtended hours
  • market-overnightOvernight
  • market-lowconfLow price confidence
  • market-pausedCorporate action
  • market-staleFeed stale
  • market-shutdownBranch shut down

State is never carried by colour alone. Every market state has a written label and an icon beside its colour, and every progress bar carries an accessible label. If you reproduce a Fyber component, reproduce that too.

Typography

Three families, one of them for numbers.

Display, Schibsted Grotesk

Every heading, at weight 500. Roman, never italic. Tracking tightens as size grows, and figures inside a heading are proportional.

Unlock your capital. Onchain.

Text, Hanken Grotesk

All prose, labels and interface text, at 400 and 500. Body sits at 16px on a 1.6 line, never lighter than the second ink.

Deposit tokenized index certificates, borrow fyUSD against them, and keep the exposure you already decided you wanted. You pick the interest rate yourself, and no function exists anywhere in the contracts that can raise it afterwards.

Data, JetBrains Mono

Every number, address, hash and formula, with tabular figures and a slashed zero, so columns align and a zero is never an O.

Usage

What to do, and what we will ask you to change.

The don’ts are longer than the dos, and that is honest: most of them exist because getting them wrong creates a legal problem, not an aesthetic one.

Do

  • Write the name as Fyber, one capital, five letters. Never FYBER in running prose, never fyber.
  • Set the wordmark in the display face, regular weight, wide letter-spacing, in ink on a dark ground.
  • Give the wordmark clear space on every side of at least the height of its own capitals.
  • Write the token as fyUSD and the wrapper as sfyUSD, both with a lower-case f. They are the ticker, not a sentence start.
  • Use the text line "Built on Robinhood Chain" when you need to state where the protocol runs.
  • Use the semantic token name when specifying a colour, so the light theme keeps working.

Don’t

  • Never place a Robinhood logo, wordmark, feather or bird next to Fyber.

Fyber is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood. It is an independent set of contracts deployed on a public chain. A logo next to ours would imply a relationship that does not exist, and it is the single rule on this page we will always ask to have corrected.

  • Never call the collateral shares, stock or equity in a legal sense.

They are collateralized tracker certificates: a claim on an issuer that tracks a share price. The loose phrase 'tokenized stocks' is acceptable in a headline. A statement that a holder owns shares is not, because it is false.

  • Never publish a forecast yield, a target, or an 'up to' figure.

Every yield number is realised over a stated window and shown with the formula that produced it. This applies to a tweet as much as to a page.

  • Never describe Fyber as decentralised while the Closer key exists.

The accurate and narrower claim is that fyUSD has no identifiable issuer: issuance is exclusively the act of contracts whose minters were frozen at construction, and closing is not issuing.

  • Never use the word safe, insured, guaranteed or risk-free about any part of this.

The words that are true are immutable, over-collateralized, and no admin keys. Liquidation and total loss of collateral are real outcomes.

  • Never make a tax argument, however implicit.

Nothing from anyone associated with this project is a statement about tax treatment, anywhere, ever.

  • Never run a campaign in the language of, or targeted at, a restricted jurisdiction.

Local-language campaigns, affiliates, sponsorships and retargeting all neutralise a geo-block, which is the thing that has to actually work.

  • Never stretch, rotate, outline, gradient-fill or re-letter the wordmark.

The mark is type. Distorting it makes it a picture of type, which reads as a counterfeit of itself.

No relationship with Robinhood

Fyber runs on Robinhood Chain because that is where the tokenized certificates and USDG already live. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood, and nothing produced by or about Fyber should suggest otherwise: no logo, no feather, no brand colours, no co-branded lockup, no wording that implies a partnership.

The only permitted form is the plain text line: Built on Robinhood Chain.
